Weekend Cook and Tell Round Up: Put an Egg on it!

Last week on the ol' Weekend Cook and Tell we took a cue from our buddy Joe Yonan of The Washington Post and asked all of you to share your go-to egg recipes for a challenge we dubbed Put an Egg On It! We were looking for your best deviled eggs, runniest over-easies, softest scrambles, and eggiest anything else. And all of you egg lovers out there did not disappoint, responses poured in by the dozen. Here's a peek at some of your most egg-tacular recipes.

zahavah had the pleasure of taking a four hour egg intensive cooking class. Head over to Kosher Camembert to read all about her poaching, deviling, souffle-baking and hollandaise making adventures.

ElizabethS's egg cravings lead her to the farmers' market in search of the freshest eggs for her Drunken Bucatini with Poached Eggs, Pancetta, and Piave.

Always Be Cleaving loves deviled eggs but is not a fan of the tedious process of preparing them. This love-hate relationship with deviled eggs led to the birth of Deviled Mayonnaise, a homemade mayo flavored with all of the goodness that goes into deviled eggs, minus the shelling, scooping and filling.

somaR chimed in with Egg Bhurji, an Indian accented egg scramble made with tomatoes, onions, chiles, peppers, and garam masala.

The Primlani Kitchen's desert island egg dish has to be Eggs Benedict, check out this recipe for Panko Crusted Bean & Chorizo Patty, Poached Eggs, Drizzled with Poblano Hollandaise Sauce.

There's no question in dbcurrie's mind that her best egg recipe ever didn't have egg on, but in it. It's a glorious grilled cheese with a poached egg tucked inside that oozes out when the sandwich is sliced.

Finally we have hancancook whose love for eggs only slightly surpasses my love for puns. Eggs were the inspiration behind this post, an ode all things eggy as well as a guide to favorite ways to enjoy them.
