Weekend Cook and Tell: Super Bowl Sup

Welcome to our Weekend Cook and Tell where each Wednesday we turn the pages of the food sections of various national newspapers in search of inspiration for a weekend cooking project. We hope you'll cook along with us and share your experiences, recipes, and photos here.

Yes, you thought your multi-month eating spree was over when New Year's came and went. But you were wrong. Super Bowl Sunday is nearly upon us and that means one thing: all day eating fest. It's irrelevant whether you enjoy football or not - I can't say that I do. But I do look forward to both the cooking and the eating. So, Super Bowl, here we come!

Joe Yonan and Tim Carman, of The Washington Post, paired together to create a Super Bowl Smackdown of recipes. Want the pizza version? Here you go. I'd be more than happy to attend either of their home parties. What do you like to prepare for yours? I plan on making Adam's Garlic-Knot Monkey Bread.
