The Vegetarian Agenda--How to Push It
Hypothetically, if you wished to plant the notion in someone's mind that the vegetarian lifestyle is a tolerable alternative to omnivoraciousness, with which vegetarian dish would you seduce your mark?
I have often watched militant attitudes mellow after I served Mollie Katzen's Gado Gado: peanut sauce drizzled luxuriously over crisp golden cubes of fried tofu, a concentric rainbow of raw and steamed vegetables, and sunshine yellow turmeric rice.
But nothing impresses the neighborhood children except for homemade pesto pizza and Nutella-soymilk cocoa.
