Welcome once again to the Weekend Cook and Tell where every Wednesday we scan the food sections of various national newspapers in search of inspiration for a weekend cooking project. We hope you'll cook along with us and share your experiences, recipes, and photos here.
No need to turn to the food section in search of inspiration this week when we've got Thanksgiving to talk about. For this week's challenge we want to hear about all of your Thanksgivings. We want to see burnished turkeys, piles of fluffy mashed potatoes, glistening bowls of cranberry sauce, and crunchy-topped green bean casseroles. We're looking for the dishes that made your Thanksgiving truly memorable, the desserts that are going in the make-again pile and the stuffing that was so great, there wasn't any to eat the next day. This week's challenge is your chance to tell us all about the incredible meal that you shared with your closest friends and family and share the recipes that made it so very memorable.
Show us photos of your turkey day spreads and recipes on Photograzing (make sure to include "Cook and Tell" in your submission title) and tell us about your recipes here! If you'd like to blog the experience, please leave a link in the comments below. We'll post a round-up of your greatest Thanksgiving hits, ideas, and experiences next Wednesday.
