Memorial Day - Dessert or Appetizer suggestions

Hello SE'ers, I am going to a BBQ this weekend and I would like to contribute either a dessert or an appetizer. There are a few considerations however: 1) whatever I bring needs to survive in a ~2 hour car ride to our destination, 2) If it is dessert, there will already be a few pies there so anything in the fruit crumble family doesn't make much sense to bring. I typically bring choc-covered macaroons but would like to switch it up this year. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!!!!
