Sourdough Starter in 30 Hours!

Sunday afternoon I was doing some experimenting with doughs, and as a result I had some flour left over so I threw some water in with it, gave it a good stir and put it in a glass and let it set out at room temp. Late Monday afternoon I happened to take a look at it and it was risen and very active. Not sure if that's some kind of a record, but it shows how easy it can be to start a sourdough culture. The warm summer temps are probably responsible, so if you've been wanting to try to make a starter, now may be a good time
