Puff Pastry Turnover Appetizers - Filling Suggestions Needed

My boyfriend's mother is throwing a party for 50-60 on Saturday. Usually she has a caterer but this one she's doing herself.

I offered to bring the hot appetizer, puff pastry turnovers filled with mushrooms, reduced down with a bit of sherry and cream. Small enough to eat with two bites, plus easy enough to fill ahead of time, freeze, and then bake right before the party. (I made them recently for a baby shower, huge hit).

I think I should make another type or two, since not everyone loves mushrooms, like I do. One idea was spinach, potato, and cheese. I think they'd be easier to fill if the potatoes were more on the mashed side, but I'm not sure if it would work. Any other suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance!
