Scott Wiener is a pizza expert, culinary judge, and consultant who writes about pizza for Serious Eats and Pizza Today magazine.
He is the author of Viva La Pizza! The Art of the Pizza Box (2013) and holds the Guinness World Record for his collection of over 1,500 pizza boxes.

Scott's lifelong passion for pizza began in suburban New Jersey and has since taken him around the world.

In 2008, he founded Scott's Pizza Tours, taking guests on in-depth tours through some of New York's most iconic pizza neighborhoods and introducing them to the history, science, and culture behind the pies. Shortly after, he also launched Slice Out Hunger, a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to supporting people experiencing difficulty meeting their basic food needs. His most recent project is the Pizza Resource Center, which provides tools, books, and other resources for pizza lovers to get cooking at home.

In addition to giving tours, Scott is also a writer and judge for a number of international culinary competitions. He writes an award-winning column for Pizza Today, has contributed to websites like Serious Eats, and has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Viceland, and Lonely Planet. There's even a full-length documentary called Scott's Pizza Tours about his lifelong pizza obsession.
