This tangy peach smoothie has a hit of ginger and maple syrup, inspired by the flavors of summer fruit desserts.
Note: I used grade A maple syrup to make this because it's what I had on hand, but grade B will provide a bolder maple flavor.

- 1 cup plain whole milk kefir
- 1 cup (about 3 1/2 ounces) frozen peaches
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
Combine the kefir, peaches, maple syrup, and fresh ginger in a blender and pulse a few times to begin to break up the peaches. Then blend on high speed until completely smooth, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
