La Vie en Rose Recipe

Peychaud's bitters gives this easy cocktail from Chicago's Pops for Champagne its bright red color, elderflower liqueur gives it sweetness and floral flavors, and brut Champagne gives it a crisp, tickling finish. The orchid garnish is optional, but don't dismiss it too fast; it makes the drink feel all the more special.

Ingredients
- Sugar cube
- 2 dashes Peychauds bitters
- 1/2 ounces elderflower liqueur
- Brut sparkling wine
- Garnish: Orchid blossom

Place sugar cube in a cocktail glass. Add bitters and elderflower liqueur. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with orchid if desired.
