Jasmine tea-infused gin melds with fresh lime juice, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and yellow Chartreuse in this enchantingly floral cocktail from 1534 in New York City. Fortunately for those of you on the move, tea needs just a few hours to infuse your spirits.

- For the Tea-infused Gin:
- 10 ounces London dry gin, such as Spring 44
- 2 jasmine green tea bags
- For the cocktail:
- 2 ounces tea-infused gin
- 3/4 ounce fresh juice from about 2 limes
- 1/2 ounce St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 ounce yellow Chartreuse
- Garnish: Lemon twist
To make the tea-infused gin: Pour gin into resealable jar and add jasmine green tea bag. Infuse at room temperature for 1 hour, taste for flavor, then continue to infuse up to 2 hours more if desired, tasting every 30 minutes. Remove tea bags and reseal.
To make the cocktail: Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add tea-infused gin, lime juice, St. Germain, and yellow Chartreuse. Shake until well chilled, about 10 seconds.
Double strain into chilled coupe glass. Squeeze oils from outside of lemon peel onto the drink and rub outside of peel along the glass's rim. Garnish with lemon peel.
