This recipe is adapted from one by by Rhiannon Enlil of Cure in New Orleans. Rhiannon uses Old N.O. Cajun Spiced Rum, but if you can't find it, you can substitute Sailor Jerry.

- 3 ounces hot dark cocoa
- 1 1/2 ounces spiced rum
- 1/2 ounces Averna amaro
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin butter such as American Spoon Fruit or Stonewall Kitchen
In a mixing glass, stir cocoa, rum, Averna, and pumpkin butter until well mixed. Pour into serving mug or glass.
