White Wine Frozen Yogurt Recipe

Use a very dry white wine here; it needs to stand up to a fair amount of sugar, and sweeter wines will taste cloying. Make sure your yogurt and wine are well chilled. If not, you'll need to chill your base before churning.
- Yield:Serves 6 to 8 (makes about 3 1/2 cups)
- Active time: 5 minutes
- Total time:30 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cups full-fat Greek yogurt, cold
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup dry white wine, cold
- Lemon juice, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Directions
-
1.
In a large bowl, whisk yogurt and sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Stir in wine with lemon juice and salt to taste (start with 1/4 teaspoon of each).
-
2.
Transfer to an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions. Serve immediately for soft serve, or freeze 2 to 3 hours for a firmer consistency.
