This recipe is perfect for popcorn you've just popped yourself, either with a hot-air popper, the stovetop, or an electric one that uses oil. You can even pop the microwavable kind (make sure it's plain and unsalted) then dress it up to make the process even easier. Adding peanuts makes it sort of Cracker Jack-like, but this recipe uses honey instead of molasses and adds peanut butter for a double peanut whammy.

- 6 cups popped popcorn
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup peanut butter 1 cup roasted peanuts
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
Prepare popcorn using your preferred popping method. Do not add salt. Place in a large mixing bowl, removing any unpopped kernels in the process.
Combine the honey and sugar in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and continue cooking for 3 minutes and then remove from heat. Immediately add the peanut butter and peanuts. Stir until the peanut butter is incorporated in the mixture.
Quickly pour the peanut butter topping over the popcorn and use two large spoons to gently toss the popcorn so that the popcorn is well coated. Allow to cool and serve with your favorite film!
