This classic twist on a Negroni adds in some absinthe to bring great herbal and light anise flavor that lingers in the background.
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1/4 ounce absinthe
- Garnish: orange twist
Fill a mixing glass 2/3 full with ice. Add gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, and absinthe. Stir until well chilled, about 20 seconds.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist and serve.
