Jobs at Serious Eats

Serious Eats is a food and recipe website for readers who are (seriously!) passionate about food. Our mission is to provide a platform for diverse voices to share stories about the multitude of ways that cooking and eating inform our lives.

We rigorously test our recipes and techniques, and thoroughly research the cultural, historical, and scientific contexts required to properly honor, celebrate, and iterate on them. This means that whether we’re publishing a recipe or writing a story about a specific dish or ingredient, we always want to answer the same fundamental questions: Where does it come from? How is it made, and why in that way? And, crucially, who are the best people to answer or otherwise inform those questions? We're currently hiring a full-time recipe editor/cross-tester and a full-time features editor to help us realize that mission, and to bring more content, new contributors, and fresh perspectives to the site.

Serious Eats provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics. Serious Eats stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, and we are committed to celebrating difference and providing an inclusive environment that raises and uplifts BIPOC and LGBTQ+ voices.
