Jina joined Serious Eats in 2020 as social media editor for the site. Before working at Serious Eats, Jina worked on social media and email strategy for The Knot Worldwide.
When she’s not glued to her phone, you can find her baking cakes for no occasion, feeding friends, and exploring the restaurants and bars New York has to offer. She is also proud to say that she has recently figured out how to turn off her screen time report. Originally from Los Angeles, she currently resides in Brooklyn.
Jina's Desert Island Food: "Kimchi mandu! Since it made up about 50% of my childhood diet (the other 50% being pasta), I feel like I could live off of it for a long time. You can pack a lot into the tiny dumpling package!"
Jina graduated from Colby College with a degree in art history and American studies.
