Cider is a fall staple, and in this recipe from Gramercy Tavern it appears in the form of a Lillet-like apéritif from Vermont-based Eden Ice Cider.
- 2 ounces Eden "Orleans" apéritif cider
- 1/2 ounce Laird's bonded apple brandy
- 1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
- 1/4 ounce orange curaçao
- 2 dashes Fee Bros. whiskey barrel aged bitters
Chill an old-fashioned glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add aperitif cider, apple brandy, maraschino liqueur, orange curaçao, and bitters. Stir until very cold, about 15 seconds. Strain into the prepared glass.
