Amazon + Affiliate Links
At Serious Eats, we’ve always been about producing the best original, 100%-free food content on the web for our dedicated readers. When you click on one of our Amazon or other affiliate links to purchase recommended products, a small percentage of that purchase comes back to us, helping us continue to provide more of what you love about Serious Eats—informed opinions, rigorously tested recipes and techniques, and beautiful photos and videos—for free. These third-party affiliates have no influence on our testing, reviewing, and recommendation processes, which are and always will be carried out completely independently by our editorial staff. As always, we welcome our community’s feedback on these important issues.
Please note that prices and availability of the recommended items we link to are subject to change after publication.
Why do I need to set up an account to post a comment? Registration helps us reduce comment spam.
Why do you need my email address? Your email address is required for account for verification. Don’t worry! We won’t share your personal information with anyone.
How do I change my username? Currently we don’t support the ability to change your username.
How do I change my password? You'll find a link to reset your password on every login form.
How do I change my account’s email address? If you need to change the email address associated with your Serious Eats account, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll change it right away.
How do I deactivate my account? We’re sad that you would ask that! :( But if you must, please contact email@example.com and we’ll take care of it.
