Eat Dinner With The Food Lab: Join Kenji's Prime Rib Holiday Feast in San Francisco and LA

When Kenji lived in New York, he'd cook for us just about every day, either in the makeshift kitchen at Serious Eats World Headquarters or at his apartment in Harlem. We felt lucky and full all the time, but his holiday dinners were really something special. So special, in fact, that I'm jumping on a plane and heading west this winter just to get another taste...and you're all invited, too. Kenji, in conjunction with our good friends at Dinner Lab, will be cooking up a storm in San Francisco on December 8 and Los Angeles on December 10. I don't know about you, but I'm coming, and I'm coming hungry.

Your ticket to the event includes a shiny new copy of The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science and the opportunity to have Kenji sign it for you in person. When the evening begins, Kenji and I will mingle and chat with you over cocktails. We'll tuck into duck liver mousse served on toasted brioche and a luscious sunchoke and brown-butter soup garnished with charred Brussels sprouts and bacon. And then there's the pièce de résistance: gorgeous prime rib with red wine and oxtail jus, plus creamy-crispy Hasselback potato gratin and Kenji's signature winter greens salad with hazelnut vinaigrette. We'll wrap up with apple pie and the ultimate chocolate chip cookies. It'll be everything you want in a special holiday dinner, without any of your pesky family (unless you invite them, of course).
We've planned two seatings in each city, and we sincerely hope you'll join us.
