As Serious Eats continues to evolve, we try to reflect not just our ideas for the site, but what your use of the site shows us you care about. So we're excited to show off a few of the latest changes we've made.
You love our city-based content, so we've made it super-easy to navigate to your favorite cities right at the top of every page. This isn't a full launch of each of these cities (while it's now easy to see our posts about Philadelphia or San Francisco, we won't have as much coverage as our already launched cities, New York and Chicago), it's a first step on the road to your favorite town. In the coming months, we'll be beefing up our coverage and making it even easier to find and discover the best bites near you.
Lots and lots of you are viewing the site on tablets and mobile devices, so we've built in a simple set of tappable tiles at the top of story, which you can swipe or click through to literally put more of the site at your fingertips.
And last but not least, We've cleaned up the navigation at the top of each page. There's a lot less clutter in our new site navigation, and it's even simpler to click to exactly where you want to be.
We hope you like these changes, let us know what you think in the comments.
