Mo Rocca has a new show airing tonight at 8:30 p.m. on the Cooking Channel and it looks pretty promising. Called "My Grandmother's Ravioli," the show follows Rocca as he visits other peoples' grandparents in their kitchens, where they teach him how to cook their specialties.
Rocca has been on other foodie shows, as the host of Food(ography) and as a judge on Iron Chef America, but he's never actually cooked on television—so there's a lot of possibility here for silly and heartwarming moments between the comedian and the grandparents.
This show also seems like a pretty good way to pick up some classic recipes done right, from the source where so many of us learned about great cooking.
