Bottom Shelf on the Beach
Will and Emily stopped into DJ's Family Sports Pub in Hyannis where the "Free Smells" sign doesn't lie. They walked through, smelled things, and were not charged (though they did tip a buck a sniff).
Josh is testing new competition rib recipes, yum.
And another photo from Cakespy, she found this ill-advised case in Los Feliz, Los Angeles.
Happy birthday, Chichi!
Our Nasty Bits and Seriously Asian correspondent Chichi Wang celebrated her birthday on Wednesday. Here she's holding a slice of passion fruit cake from DessertTruck Works in New York City. They thoughtfully stuck a candle (not a regular candle, but a trick candle!) in the cake after hearing it was her birthday.
Spaghetti Party at Caroline's
Cook the Book editor
Caroline Russock was cooking from Mark Vetri's Rustic Italian Food cookbook this week. What does she do with all those leftovers, you must be wondering? Lots of dinner parties. It's good to be friends with Caroline. Served at the party this week: spaghetti in parchment with clams and scallions. "Dramatic presentation aside, baking the pasta in parchment allows the winey, clammy sauce to really soak into the pasta. And when you dig into your individual pasta packet, it's worth it alone for the incredible aroma," says Caroline.
