Christmas is over. You've stuffed yourself with cookies. You're thinking that you'll start eating healthier in the new year. But ... but. There are Christmas leftovers to finish first! Maybe a roast, maybe a ham. A sandwich would be nice. Those leftovers deserve homemade bread.
But you worked so hard before the holidays. You want to put your feet up and relax. You don't want to knead bread. You want it to be as easy as possible.
So, maybe you have a bread machine. That takes care of the lazy part. Then there's the healthy part.
When it comes to bread, whole grains are usually what people are looking for. This bread is 2/3 whole grains, with 1/3 white wheat and 1/3 rye. The final third is bread flour, because I think it helps the texture of the bread.
This makes a nice sandwich bread, and it couldn't possibly be easier.
