Weekend Cook and Tell Round Up: Thanksgiving Pregame

Last week on the ol' Weekend Cook and Tell we checked in to see where all of you were in your Thanksgiving menu planning. Now on the eve of the big day, we're back to see exactly what's going to be gracing your tables. So without further ado, let's take a look at your Thanksgiving Pregame. Who knows, maybe some of these recipe will inspire you to add a plate or two to tomorrow's feast.

lemonfair's Vermont Thanksgiving always includes much requested two staples: a lovely and seasonally adorable Pine Cone Cheese appetizer studded with pecans and a refreshing cream topped Fruit Salad that adds a bit of lightness to the sometimes oh-so heavy meal.

Swapping out traditional cranberry relish for this Smokey Spicy Apple Cranberry Chutney, somaR is bringing Indian flavors to a friend's Thanksgiving potluck along with Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Shish Kabob.

Ajax32 has lined up quite the menu beginning with cocktail hour Gougères à la David Lebovitz and our own Lucy Baker's Maple-Rosemary-Bourbon Pecans and rounding out the meal with a Purple Yam Pie, a lovely take on that Southern classic, the sweet potato pie.
