Father's Day Book Giveaway: 'Man with a Pan'

John Donohue is an accomplished cartoonist, an editor at the New Yorker, and the creator of Stay at Stove Dad, a blog devoted to the adventures of dads who cook.

His newly released Man with a Pan is a collection of essays and recipes all about what happens when Dad is in charge of putting dinner on the table. For a little insight as to what it means to be a stay-at-stove Dad, check out this video promo for the book.

Donohue has assembled a fantastic cast of dads to share their thoughts on cooking for the family. He's got Mario Batali talking about introducing his brood to the joys of cardoons and pesto; Mark Bittman, who kept busy in the kitchen while his wife was in medical school; Matt Greenberg, a screenwriter specializing in horror who shares a Shining-esque play involving a family staying in an "incredibly isolated hotel resort" with a sinister grill. And that's only the beginning.

There are novelist dads, songwriter dads, and radio show host dads, all of whom share their unique takes on being a stay-at-stove Dad for Man with a Pan, along with 60 family friendly recipes.
