There was a lot of hype surrounding the Bellevue, Washington opening of Las Vegas-based restaurant, Munchbar. Touted as a glammed-up comfort food haven, one has to wonder, is the hype worth it? Bite into one of their Sloppy Jack Sliders and you'll be deliciously convinced. Available on their Munchies appetizer menu, they're little sandwiches with big flavor - smoky tender pulled pork mixed with a sweet bbq sauce, topped with creamy shreds of cole slaw, and a nice crunch of crispy fried onions, all between a mini brioche bun. It's messy, so keep your knife and fork handy. They're served up two per order, with a little silver bucket of shoestring fries, so this is easily a shareable item with another person, or keep it all to yourself, as no one will blame you. They're priced at $9 and not included on their half-off happy hour menu, but with the fries, it's a filling appetizer whose flavor won't disappoint.
