For last week's Weekend Cook and Tell challenge we wanted to know what you all like to cook and eat when you're feeling a bit rough around the edges. In a challenge we dubbed Feel Bad Food, we asked for your best recipes for when you're sick, hungover, or just a little blue. Here's a look at some of our responses that are such to detox, hydrate, comfort, and reenergize.

When theindolentcook isn't feeling well, it's all about comforting Congee topped with a Spicy Malaysian Dried Shrimp Relish. I have to concur; congee works wonders.

When somaR is feeling blue and missing home, there's nothing like Fish in Mustard Chili Sauce to bring back fond memories of family, friends, and a childhood home.

maggieesq put together various hangover helpers featured in the Chicago Tribune slideshow that inspired this week's challenge and came up with a Peanut Butter Jell-O and Banana Sandwich. Sounds crazy! Let us know if it works, maggieesq.

Jeanette's Healthy Living forgoes the meat for a version of Vegetarian Phở full of clean broth and healthy vegetables that's sure to detoxify your body and jumpstart your system.

According to jfitz, Menudo, a tried and true Mexican hangover remedy of spicy tripe soup, is the only way to go when you're hungover. But jfitz warns that it should be purchased and not made at home since the cooking process will only worsen the hangover.

For troxel317, ice cream is the ultimate comfort food, created in flavors to help her reminisce, like this coconut ice cream that brings to mind comforting images of sitting on a beach, piña colada in hand.

SconnieGirl offered a comprehensive guide to hangover foods divided thoughtfully into three levels of hungoverness. Level one calls for plenty of orange Gatorade; Level two can be overcome with a chocolate malted; and the dreaded Level three (otherwise known as "Oh my GOD, what happened last night? Why is the room spinning?!") can be cured with a handful of Advil, a cheeseburger, and a big fountain soda, preferably Diet Coke or Dr. Pepper.

Of course, we also have to give a few shout-outs to other popular feel-bad foods mentioned this week: A big, greasy, eggy breakfast was tops among hangover helpers and soups, both classic chicken and hot and sour from the local Chinese place, ranked highest for when you're feeling under the weather.
