My first foray into the glorious world of Indian cuisine was at a restaurant called Taj Mahal in, of all place, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I've since come to find that Taj is the best Indian restaurant within MANY miles around. Their Lamb Curry is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted! I've since tried my own hand at cooking Chicken Tikka Masala. It failed miserably. Thanks a lot random recipe from the internet... :-(

McCafe = The Sucks! Big time!!! I had one of the new lattes at McD's recently and it was so uber-sweet and anti-delicious that I felt like giving myself a timeout as punishment for having spent perfectly good money on perfectly bad coffee.

Starbucks makes the best lattes. Dunkin brews the best regular ol' coffee.

Of all the burger blog entries I've read on this site, I don't think I've seen a single one that was overall positive... Are there truly no burger joints out there that can get the burger/fry combination "right" or is it simply "the style" these days to gripe about every little flaw in the execution of what is, in most cases, an inherently tasty meal?

(The one true exception to that rule being Buffalo Wild Wings, which makes a HORRIBLE excuse for a burger and barely recognizable fries....Crap, I think I just jumped on the band wagon!)

Mmmm I love fresh hop beer... I highly suggest this year's Bridgeport Hop Harvest, as well. I don't know if you kids way over on the right coast can get it easily, but it's well-balanced with full Centennial hops, and boy is it tasty.

I still remember the first time I had a kalamata olive. I was 13 years old, and my family had decided to picnic with some friends along a river. One person had brought along a bunch of kalamatas and was raving about them. I was eager to try one, but when I did, I thought they were awful. But after eating them at random intervals over the years, I've grown to love them; they're now my favorite :)
