i never understood microwave popcorn, it has an artificial taste even when its not burnt. some movie theatres (usually smaller independent ones) have decent popcorn, most do not. i do have an air popper, but there are also pre popped and bagged corn, just avoid anything with a list of chemicals on the back.

My favorite sandwich as a kid was an omelet with jam in a pita. The other kids thought it was strange, my sister's fav was yogurt and olive paste. But our food didnt get really weird til we went to high school, it was a boarding school, where everyone have yogurt sandwiches in like a hot dog bun with potato chips and sugar. I still find myself buying hot dog buns every so often.

There were lots of popular odd pairings in my boarding school, but the overall favorite was a hot dog bun spread with strained yogurt and topped with crushed potato chips and sugar. Crunchy, creamy, salty and sweet, plus portable. Its the ultimate snack.
