You're suggesting there ISN'T a sriracha-friendly food? Heck, I even like it with rich ice cream, but anything with eggs is a winner.

Lately, I've been mad about chewy breads with lots of herbs.

The kitchen I grew up in was a big, glorious kitchen, with terracotta tile floors that soaked up the sun from the south-facing picture windows looking out upon the Sierra Mountains.
Now, my entire apartment, including the efficiency kitchen, could fit in that space. All I really want back is the view, though.

A surprising recipe that came to me by way of Rachel Ray of all places, for Spring Baked Ziti, with all the best spring veg while it's still cool enough out to turn the oven on. Knocked my socks off!

A rather peculiar place opened up on First Hill in Seattle, serving up Japanese gourmet hot dogs and crepes. I've only had the crepes, and was grateful for the hospital next door.

I just moved away from Boston last June, so this is my first winter away from NESF in years. I'm lost without them! Come summer, I'll be missing their cold fruit soups. :(
