NYC's Top 10 Ice Cream Sandwiches
I can't say I've tasted all of those, but I don't think anything can top Jaques Torres. I'm partial to the "wicked" (that's chocolate with chili, for those who've never been) ice cream between those best-chocolate-chip-cookies-ever, though. I just had one last weekend and I'm craving another now!
Why Eat Cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery When Everything Else Is So Much Better?
Native to the West Village, I must say that I have a passionate distaste for Magnolia Bakery cupcakes. The frosting really kills them- I have a strong suspicion that it is actually nothing more than whipped butter with food coloring (perhaps some people like to eat plain butter, but I cannot say I'm one of them). However, this made me think that perhaps I should give some of their other desserts a chance, never having tasted one. The banana pudding looks delicious!
