What's Your Favorite Gas Station Convenience Store for Snacks?

Ah, I love this post. I'm also from central PA, and remember making late night runs to Sheetz for soft pretzels and Middleswarth potato chips. Now that I'm living in Boston, there's nothing comparable that I've found around eastern or central MA.

The NYTimes recipe for "dry-brined" turkey sounds tasty, but isn't brine a salt water solution by definition? This doesn't make sense to me.

Burger King will make a "rodeo burger" topped with an onion ring and barbecue sauce. At least I think those are the ingredients - my boyfriend is a big fan but I've never tried it.

Mixed Review: Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Whoopie Pie Mix

Speaking as a former central Pennsylvanian - a whoopie pie isn't legit unless half the cake sticks to your plate (or its saran wrap covering, or your fingers). It's part of the charm.
