Best Date Shakes in Southern California
This list is so handy b/c tomorrow I'm going to Morongo, which is really close to Hadley's. I had no idea they served date shakes. I'd been to Shield's before, which wasn't bad except that the date crystals have a weird kinda fake sugary taste to them. I think Shields is great b/c the whole store acts as a novelty (especially the free movie they play about the "sex life" of a date), but I'm putting more faith in Hadley's. Thanks for the info!

I also think that food like pastries and the like should NOT be served at Starbucks b/c they usually taste disgusting (not even if placed in their microwave/toaster oven) and are only offered b/c it's an easy, cheap way to make a bigger profit (just like soda at fast-food places).

I gotta hand it to BiltonNY....Intelligencia is really good at least the location in Silver Lake. The barista made a heart with the foam for my latte, which is something most baristas can't or don't try to do. It's not necessarily the best I've had, but considering most of the crap out there, it's really good. There's a pretty good gelato place across the street if that also interests you. Sorry I don't remember the name.
