I'm not even a burger fanatic, so, the burgers I eat has to be damned good. And I mean damned GOOD. And for me, in SoCal, nothing (at least in fast food chains) beats In-N-Out for its taste, quality, value and service. Other than that, only Kenji's recipes for burgers and sliders satisfy me. So, it's mystery to me what measuring stick you are using when you say that In-n-Out is overrated.

I love sushi, I love cheese burgers, and I live in L.A., but this is a crime! No thank you!!

@Kenji, thanks to your past articles, my wife (the burger freak) thinks my burgers are the best she's ever had, but she still prefers McD's fries over mine. . . . until now. I just saw this special yesterday, and the things they to their burgers should be considered a criminal offense. It's pretty hard to believe that they've stayed in business for so many years.

@Robyn, that's totally fine. I think there's no right or wrong answer to this one. I just wanted ask because lumping the two together would've allowed me to participate in one more poll.

That's one horrendous looking plate of slop. What scared me the most was that the grill marks on the top bun actually looks blue in that photo.

I'm in L.A. and I'm jealous as hell of NYC because you guys have all the great pizza joints. And I was wondering: Do the major pizza chains have a big presence in NYC? Do New Yorkers actually go to these chains for pizza?

@jkdrummer, I was thinking the exact same thing. That pate like mushroom topping really isn't visually inviting. I'm glad that it, at least, tasted good.
