Cook the Book: The Cornbread Gospels
My favorite cornbread was my mother's. She started it in a cast iron skillet over a flame then finished it in the oven. Sometimes she added cracklins. Awesome!

I use my slow cooker to make a big pot of soup, a nice roast, spaghetti sauce, or simmer chicken. Then I have plenty to make a variety of meals during the week.
Cubans are awesome, likewise any type of grilled cheese with tomato, mushrooms, garlic - yum
Depending on my stress level, chocolate, plain tortilla chips, fried chicken or mashed potatoes and gravy.
My 8th grade Home Ec teacher taught me the basics and a wedding gift of the Betty Crocker cookbook helped to speed that along. I'm a cookbook fanatic since I have no creativity of my own.
Milk chocolate first with dark a close second. Actually chocolate in any form is delightful.
I love milk chocolate especially with nuts. Actually I'll take any kind of chocolate I can get!
I'm a serious chocoholic! I love milk chocolate bars, especially with nuts. A big bowl of ice cream (any flavor will do) covered with chocolate syrup, a decadent chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting of course. Did I remember to say I am a serious chocoholic? :)

I have to admit, mine is the best I've eaten. I just use a yellow cornbread mix (usually Martha White), add Pace's Picante Sauce, grated cheddar cheese and whole kernal corn. Extra cheese goes on top. Yuuummmy! For restaurant cornbread, it has to be Mama's Daughter's Diner in Lewisville, Texas.
I had the most amazing cornbread at Marie Callendar's restaurant in Oklahoma City.
Jiffy Mix made in a preheated cast iron skillet, greased with some bacon drippings. I love the crusty brown portion! Gotta eat it with real BUTTER! Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

When I buy a bag of lemons I zest them and then juice them all. I freeze the zest in little baggies and the juice I freeze in ice cube trays and then place in baggies in the freezer. It's very convenient for baking and cooking.
I make a large beef roast on Sunday and we eat leftovers at least twice after.
We always make extra - doubling every recipe - to have leftovers and save cooking time.
cut n freeze -- and buy frozen when you can -- especially veggies since they tend to be fresher frozen
