Dinner Tonight: Chinese Steamed Trout With Fermented Black Beans

Chinese people usually serve it whole at the dining table, and then my mom would separate the flesh from the bones on one side, then carefully remove the skeleton (with as much bones attached as possible) because god forbid you flip the fish (it's bad luck according to Chinese people)!

Bellanico in Oakland, CA serves some of the most delicious rustic Italian style dishes at a reasonable price. Using organic meats and wild caught seafood, Bellanico's changing menu never fails to impress me.
