I love that I live in the Madison area. I love the TGD but not for burgers. I go there for the Beer. The Brat and Bacon Pretzel Burger is a fake. For one a Brat should not come as a patty! This burger made the Food Network's Burger of Wisconsin awhile back. It got that because of the name, not because it is a good Burger. The star of this Burger is the bun and the bacon. As mention, the bun did not stand up to the Burger and the "Fake" brat. There are better places for a Burger in Madison. I would not even send someone to TGD for a Burger. I tell them to go there for the beer. Look at the comments. You send people to Dotty's for a great burger in Madison. There are many others, The Blue Moon, Plaza, Oakcrest, The Village Bar. I take those Burgers over TGD anytime. I would even send someone to Five Guys before I send them to TGD for a burger. Wisconsin is a great burger State and has great burger joints. TGD is not one of them.

I work at a bar/grill. When people order "well done" I always feel sorry for them. When I take an order I write well done on their order. When I hand it in to the cook I say "Hockey Puck It."
