Don't watch television. Don't want to, either.
No partner but I have a sweetie cat named Creamcheese...
Senior citizens love coffee shops too! I started going to one in my neighborhood here in Portland, Oregon...there was a sunny room, good latte and pastries and a big table with plenty of room where I could open my New York Times and peruse it leisurely. Soon someone started joining me regularly to read my castoff NYTimes and eventually we struck up a friendship...we discuss book and movie reviews and now sometimes go to a show together, play Scrabble occasionally and always share the NYTimes and our opinion about what's going on in the world. It's part of my morning ritual - breakfast, morning walk then the coffee shop for a latte and NYTimes and good conversation.
48 yr old accountant for a large non profit org. Love food and have really started to enjoy the process and preparation as much as the results.
30 yr-old banker in NYC. I love to cook and eat but can't always find for cooking. Luckily, my husband loves to cook as well and is a fantastic cook. So for now, I'm sticking with eating! We love to travel and trying new ingredients or cuisines.
My accomplishments are homemade ice cream, spicy kimchee fried rice, and one pot clam bake. I would love to learn how to make pasta from scratch.
29 yr old rock DJ from Lancaster, PA.
and a Professional Doer of Things.
I just realized I don't know what I do. I guess it depends on which day of the week it is?
I'm 37, a creative director for a specialty food retailer during the day.

I'm a 24 yr. old middle school special ed. teacher in the Seattle area. Love to cook!
I'm 24. I work in the editorial division of a newspaper syndicate, and write a food column for an online women's magazine. Serious Eats is my oasis in a desert of Courier New font.
30 Independent cinema manager, stumbled across this site, tonight while putting together a short film about eating meat. (I was searching for soundbites I could rip off.)
Nice topic.
48-year-old academic librarian in NYC--former bartender, former massage therapist, former IBM tech support worker, former grad student in medieval history. Full-time, life-long food lover.
I work at an independent record label in NYC, and a record store part-time. Most of the folks in my fast-paced line of work eat so unhealthfully (and untastefully!) that it makes me cringe, but I keep comments to myself. In my world of limited labor-of-love salaries, cooking most of my own food is a huge money-saver, even if it means getting up early, no matter how late I was out at a rock show the night before... Thanks for this question - it's very interesting to hear about everyone's different lives/occupations!
