just got my very first CSA produce
Wow, didn't think it was much but now wondering how I am not going to let all the arugula and spinach go to waste knowing I'll be getting more next week. Anyone have suggestions for freezing or any other way of preserving?
Thank you for the responses so far. We made arugula pesto tonight. We made one with garbonzo beans and one with toasted walnuts. Put them in small containers in the freezer. We'll see how they do! I haven't tackled the spinach yet, will do that tomorrow. But we did have a great steak and mixed greens salad for dinner. Plus we still have green onions to think about. This is a new experience for me and I am very excited about the whole season.
