Sunday Supper: Quick Beef Stew
That's pretty much my mom's recipe only she added celery and a can of tomatoes.

Larry King - I'd like to see him eat a high-fat dinner and really enjoy it!
I make my own - I finally was able to find a recipe that is on the sweeter side which I prefer.
When my girls are at school, I prep the dinner. Then when they get home I have more time to spend with them and just have to put all the ingredients together.
Italy for pasta, Poland for pierogies (my sister-in-law said she never tasted them better), and Austria for pastry!
I really don't bake from mixes anymore because everything is so loaded with high fructose corn syrup and preservatives. At least you know what is in your cake when you make it from scratch.
That's pretty much my mom's recipe, only she threw in a package of "Beef Stew" seasoning mix from the spice aisle and left out the flour and bouillon. (I don't want any guff about that seasoning mix or I'll have Adam send you to Banyourassville.)
*sigh* Something about all that malto-dextrin and the anonymous "spices" sure made it tasty.
This is the first Mother's Day I haven't been able to spend with Mom. I'm going to borrow your idea and cook a recipe of my mom's (not the stew).
Sweet post Adam.
Happy Mother's Day all you moms!
