Regional reviews would be great. This site is great for when I'm visiting NYC, but the excitement over In N Out in Fisherman's Wharf here in SF is fairly useless to me. Bring in Brad!

@minoric: I think part of the reason may be because we've been doing daily link roundups that have moved some of the more fun/cool posts into a list of links. We'll adjust the distribution to call out the truly fun/cool/interesting stuff that deserves its own post. Not that all the links in there wouldn't necessarily deserve a standalone post—just that our thinking was to try to pass on as much relevant burger info as we can to pass along intel to people in a timely manner. We still haven't got the mix just right, but we'll get there.
As far as the "Older" link ... it's a bit of a known issue here at AHT HQ. Basically, what's happening there is that the "next" page is really the most recent weekly archive page—so it's showing everything we've posted in the week, beginning on the most recent Monday. So you will be seeing a lot of stuff you've just seen. You'll just have to click the next "Older" link at the bottom of "Page 2," and that will bring you to truly older material. I know it's a bit of a pain, but with our publishing system, there's no real way to have true "pagination"—it's a flaw of the software, unfortunately, and we tried to do the best we could with it.

Yeah...definitely have slipped as of late. I love the idea of reader contributions (those approved by the editors of AHT). Also, when one clicks the "older" post link, it just goes back to the beginning of the page but with more added on to the end of the page. It would make more sense to have it go to the previous page, no?

Wow. There really is some popular support for Regional Reader Reviews. Awesome. We'll get started on that. @cycorider: I agree. I'd hope that one of the reasons people come to AHT is that we do strive to have intelligent, well-edited reviews. So, yeah, we'd give reader reviews a once-over to correct spelling and basic grammar but still leave the essential "voice" intact. I'm really excited and eager to start rolling on this project. CHARS!

Hm, I thought the coverage has been pretty good, but I wouldn't mind seeing more reviews from other places either! If you guys do choose to make a user review section though, please, PLEASE make sure that only intelligently written, proofread reviews get posted. I know my grammar isn't perfect and I probably have no room to talk, but there's nothing that ruins a site's credibility more than articles that look like they were written by an 8 year old.

Its getting a little less frequent as far as updates and stories. I even sent a similar letter offering the same service with Chicago burgers. Why no link on Illinois Bar & Grill? They even got a location at Midway airport so it makes sense to show off these big boys.

I enjoy Damon's contributions from Cali, and whenever I leave NYC I check here for burger rec's abroad; in sum, more reviews from vetted and knowledgeable contributors would be nice.

ditto on the regional reviews, while I love hearing about burgers in CA and NY it's not like I am going to be visiting them anytime soon firmly planted here in the midwest. I vote for User submitted reviews that you guys can give the once over and either approve or delete.

While I think the quality has changed that much (also not being a NYer I only skim a lot of the content), I would encourage you to accept more "roving reporters". There's a lot of burgers out here too.

I agree, good burgers are definitely making a comeback all over the country and I would love to see regional stuff from all over. I also agree that posts seemed to have lagged over the past couple of weeks, or at least are not as often is it used to seem to be.
