I travel extensively and this really works! Drink plenty of water and/or tea and break the fast by eating according to the local times. If it's breakfast, eat breakfast. If mid-day meal, eat that... you get the idea. Getting acclimated to a 13 hour time difference faster is SO worth not eating for 16 hours!

I put 2-3 leaves of fresh basil on top of a slice of prosciutto and then wrap it around a bread stick. Generous slices of cheese on the side and a great wine... perfect meal any day!!
