Tracy Chabala

Pastry Cook and Freelance Writer

Native Angeleno, nascent food writer, and pastry cook at Suzanne Goin's flagship restaurant Lucques in West Hollywood. I have also toiled on prep, hot apps, and pantry stations at Michelin-starred Water Grill in downtown Los Angeles.

My whisking delts are quite massive, but I can make a mean Sabayon.

Currently a contributor to LA Weekly's food blog Squid Ink. I hold various degrees from university but never set foot in culinary school; my kitchen adventures began by flipping 100% grass-fed burgers in the prepared foods department at Whole Foods Market in Glendale.
