The corn side dish sounds good to me.

After our first child was born my wife made me a birthday cake. She left the completed cake on the kitchen counter and went to tend to our barely 2 week old daughter.

Upon returning to the kitchen she saw the remains of the cake being devoured by our 1.5 year old Basset Hound.

My wife sat down and cried, then proceeded to make another cake.

It was a horrible happening but a memory we always share.

My favorite burger of all time was purchased at a greasy spoon in Albuquerque, NM. I was about 5 years old and my family and I were traveling by train from CA to KS. We had a 20 minute stop and my Mom disembarked and brought back a bag of hot burgers to my brothers and I on the train. They were delicious!

I've never forgotten that moment.

My grandfather used this combination when grilling steaks:

Sausage seasoning, poultry seasoning, red chili pepper and coarse ground black pepper

My Mom made the best tacos I've ever eaten. Nothing fancy, ground beef, and the usual fixings. The flavor has never left me.

My son saves his favorite fortunes in his wallet. I'd guess he has at least ten year's worth in one spot. He's a Psychology grad student so no doubt he'll put them to good use.
