Can anyone recommend a great seafood/fish place in NYC?

Don't forget about the good old Oyster Bar at Grand Central. They still have some of the best oysters in the city. Overall Aquagrill is one of my favorites in the city. If you are Brooklyn bound, the Brooklyn Bait Camp in Park Slope is fantastic.

Fish on Bleecker. Great prices and excelently cooked. Also great drink deals if you go early.
