The only cocktail I've ever had that contains Benedictine, is the Singapore Sling. I'm not usually a fan of brightly-colored fruity cocktails but the balance of flavors and the addition of gin makes for a perfect mix.

This sounds a lot like shiamali, which is made in Cyprus. In recent years I've discovered a lot of sweet & savory foods that are found throughout the Middle East (particularly Cyprus, Turkey, Lebanon & Syria) that just have different names!

Serious Eats Finds New York's Best Bagel

Twice Upon A Bagel all the way out in Wainscott (right off Montauk Hgwy) is definitely the best bagel on LI. I always stop there whenever I go out to Montauk. Nothing beats their toasted everything bagel with lox & dill cream cheese. Yum!
