how to make a Fluffernutter sandwich?
I like to add nice jam to mine. PBJF. With a icy cool glass of milk.
Kinda like the noise you make trying to answer to phone with a mouthful of said sandwich.

Stoned Wheat Thins...Awesome, man!
http://www.amazon.com/Stoned-Wheat-Thins-10-6-Ounce-Boxes/dp/B000F9XB7K
# Made with cracked wheat for an extra hearty flavor
Right on, but I'll eat anything when I'm totally blazed!
# No cholesterol or saturated fats
Better snacking material if I'm going to eat a whole box!
# Crispy wheat taste complements your favorite dips and cheeses
Cheese in a can, or my canna-butter hummus? Yeah man, it's all good.
# Made in Canada
Goes great with B.C. bud, bro! Keep it chill.

You obviously don't have to cater to picky little brats

It doesn't look as good as fries and looks messier than fries but I would give it a try for novelties sake.

But it is better to take their attitudes into life because a lot of the time that's all you can do, getting bent won't help a thing, you just look like an ass.
Life Lessons I Learned From Top Chef Masters
It's all about the charity. These people have secure livelihoods, they already have what the regular season contestants want so they can afford to screw around. Same as on charity game shows.

Banh Mi + Panini = Banhmi-Ni
I thought that was cool but I think back to my first time with a banh mi and was smitten by the crumbs on my lips and the fresh crisp but soft still warm bread, and the contrast between meat, bread, herbs and spread. and pickles. Some places' bread isn't worth eating and would probably be better pressed, but really good fresh bread would be destroyed.
Mr. T's FlavorWave Oven Apes George Foreman's Grill
I'll be expecting they'll be using that on the next top chef as one of the challenges.
Seriously. It would be the ideal vessel to "craft" a delicious bertolli oven bake meal, which I assume is an upcoming challenge.
Animal Style Fries at In-N-Out Burger
By the way, on the animal style burger they put pickles on too, which don't come stock on the regular burger, that saves a step from what I did for years which was cheeseburger grilled onions and pickles. But their fries are shite. They are only fried once, and are limp and cardboardy as a result, I have asked for them well done and they come out as crisp husks of what were fries. Not good either way.
Addicted to Food
I tend not to eat as much when I cook.
I try and eat small portions and to savor them more.
I try not to drink much soda because it it very calorie rich and it's very easy to drink a lot of calories that way.
I haven't read up on it, but I'm pretty sure some people are genetically predisposed to addictions and food is one of them. I think it comes down to willpower at that point, nobody's shoveling the food into your mouth, it's all you.
I'd deal with "food that isn't even that good" and "food that happens to be available". Don't eat it, it's crap. Even if it's free, they should be paying you to eat crap. Have a bite, realize it's junk and toss the rest, that's taking control of your eating habits. That's why I rarely refill my fountain drinks or make a choice to get plain iced tea instead of coke, they should be paying you to drink it. I've been 195 pounds and I'd rather not have my thighs rub and chafe against each other again. Also if you eat smaller meals, you will get used to it and you will train yourself to be satisfied with less in your belly. These are all conscious choices you need to make, if you have a problem with it you need to try harder than other people, chew your food more, savor and enjoy it more but eat less. Eating is a very sensual experience, and people gain comfort in it, I know I have, but it won't make you feel better ultimately, you'll just get fat.
You have a chocolate bar, you can eat it in a couple minutes or take a square and savor it, then repeat once more, and that will take a couple minutes. What do you have after that time? You have the taste of chocolate in your mouth in both instances, but you still have most of the chocolate bar in the second instance to savor tomorrow or later.
If you really don't want to stop your inputs you need to raise your outputs, hit the gym, do strength training and cardio, get a personal trainer if you can afford it. I started doing pilates for a back issue and as a fringe benefit I noticed some weight loss (along with slight diet change). You really don't need anything but an area to exercise in. I can recommend some easy exercises to start if you want.
If you were to subscribe to one food magazine, it would be _____
Cook's doesnt give daring recipes or anything, but I like that they break them down and say why they chose what they do, you can learn more about technique and why instead of how and that grows your knowledge. I like the layout and drawings on the back and the paintings on the front. the only thing I don't like is Bowtie McKimball's homespun yarns. I get bon appetit, gourmet, and saveur I think saveur's my favorite.

glad youre disaster was averted, but I just wanted to add that if you have a grapefruit knife, that would work splendidly. It has a blade of 3-4 inches, a slight bend, and fine serrations, some of them have squared serrations but I like the fine ones

In Videos: How Are Hot Dogs Made? Find Out (If You Dare)
Whatddaya think it was, magic? Cheese and rice! Hot dogs are one of the noblest meats, in my opinion, because it uses all the trimmings, not those elitist choice cuts. If I was killed, parted out and eaten, I wouldn't want anything to go to waste either. Besides, they are delicious. I'd rather have a hot dog in a crackly casing any day over one of them skinless wieners though.
Homemade "Pepperidge Farm Stuffing"?
I think pepperridge farm stuffing is weird stuff.
Homemade "Pepperidge Farm Stuffing"?
Oh well I use the blue bag of PF but my family must be weird I cook celery and onion and grind up a link of Hillshire Farm Kilbasa and add poultry seasoning and chic broth.
Homemade "Pepperidge Farm Stuffing"?
I'm with your sister, I love the PF stuffing (in the blue bag) we also make a corn bread stuffing but nothing tastes better than PF stuffing!
Homemade "Pepperidge Farm Stuffing"?
@Robin, I've posted Pepperidge Farm founder Margaret Rudkin's original recipe for her grandmother's sage & onion stuffing here, which is the recipe she developed her Pepperidge Farm packaged stuffing from. I'm planning on making it this weekend for the side-by-side taste test you mentioned.
Homemade "Pepperidge Farm Stuffing"?
I've never had Pepperidge Farm stuffing, but I assume it's like Stovetop Stuffing, which none of your homemade recipes will taste like unless you add a ton of potent industrial seasoning.
My little cousins would only eat fake mashed potatoes made from instant, wouldn't touch anything made from real potatoes.
I'd make real stuffing for the turkey stuffing, keep it simple (mostly bread, add butter, onions, celery, salt, pepper, sage or thyme) and make a little side dish of fake crap for the picky brats.

For a decadent variation, spread Fluff on one slice of bread, Nutella on the other. Place gently together, admire, and eat.

Well, we tried it today. This week's batch is ground turkey, brown rice, fresh cut green beans, carrots, and chicken broth (low sodium). gave them about 1/2 kibble, and 1/2 turkey stew, and added about 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese. They inhaled it. Loved it. Thanks for all the help.

The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
Hey Golato, you know an awful lot about this store. I'm confused. You said in your first post that you were not able to find the Tornado Fries store. Now you claim to have "insider" information about what goes on in the back room. Are you lying now, or were you lying then?
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
LOU are you kidding me, would we have this thread up on the website if I was still involved with Tornado, absolutely not. Just simply click on the link above and magically it takes you away from your site and too a small competitors site, I thought you and Richard were a little smarter than that.
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
I guess the big store criticalone is referring to above is the same Tornado Fries store that doesn't have a sign because they didn't follow city zoning requirements, wheres that big sign you mentioned. Word has it they are also using an illegal fryer with no fire suppression system to make there horrible deep fryed candy bars, located in the back room. One other note, they may loose there Trademark status because of lack of enforcement by other companies, log onto patent trademark office website and read all about it.
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
Chipstix was the shop in the arcade that I tried after Tornado Fries. It was NOT good. Looks like the post on July 19 from Golato was posted by the owner of the Chipstix shop. Lets look at this... It was posted just 34 minutes after the post by the obvious stor owner "Chipstix". Very unusual spelling of the owners first name. I bet 9 out of 10 people wouldn't guess that was how you spell it.
Couldn't find Tornado Fries? It's the big store with the huge sign right in the middle of the boardwalk. It's much easier to find the chipstix store in the corner of an arcade. Did you trip over the Holy Grail or Jimmy Hoffa's body on your way to the chipstix store?
Once again... The people working in the chipstix store are very ignorant. Especially the "Little Person" (I have nothing against "little people", but this guy takes the cake) who runs around like he owned the place.
C'mon buddy, promote your "little" store somewhere else.

The original Korean product is called "Twist Potato". Their website is http://www.potatotwist.com.
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
Hello all, I was able to check out this snack but couldn't find tornado fries. I tried chipstix, it was across from Morey's Piers and they had a flavor called pizza and it was awesome. I also got a fresh squeezed lemonade that was to die for.
The girl working there was named Iryna and she said shes the owner. She was very nice and helpful. There was a NBC 10 news interview playing from Memorial Day weekend that featured the world famous chipstix.
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
Tornado Fries accually came from a business started 9 years by Gary Barnes who now resides in the UK. He invented the original spiral cut potato blade and started a company called CHIPSTIX, a fried potato with a twist. It started in South Africa not Korea. The Tornado Fries company is trying to take credit for this creation but have merely copied and tried to brand themselves as The Original.
The true original is CHIPSTIX and yes you have seen them in Ocean City, NJ at the French Fry Factory. They are also located in North Wildwood at the famous Gateway 26 Arcade and in Wildwood at Lime Ricky Arcade. CHIPSTIX also offers there potent mixture of fresh squeezed lemonade.

The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
I saw this at our local barbeque fair (Pork in the Park - Salisbury, MD) a couple of months ago. I'm shocked that they had something here in the boonies that you guys hadn't seen yet! I'm pretty sure it's just a bbq-circuit though, so they probably picked it up somewhere else...
The Tornado Potato Touches Down in the U.S.
I was down in Wildwood this weekend and saw this great new shop. I tried a sample and loved it. It was seasoned with their original seasoning. Then I came across another guy selling a similar product in an arcade. It was not nearly as good. And the people at the Tornado Fries stand were much friendlier and more professional.
