McDonald's Says Eat More Chicken For Breakfast
In the omaha area the promotion is going today and tommorrow, plus they will give you a sandwich if you get the 1$ sweet tea, so that lowers you freebie price to $1.07 including tax!

Stone ground mustard, swiss cheese, and a nice crisp piece of lettuce!
I think I am the opposite of most people, I love it when the bacon is crisp but sometimes have those edges that have the fatty bits, so they aren't as crisp as the rest of the bacon, mmmm those are the best ones!!
Filet Mignon will always by my favorite cut of steak, But it has to be prepared right, and of course be Medium Rare!!
Eggs benedict will always be my favorite brunch food, but New York brunch will have to be the classic smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese and bagels!
Red Beans and Rice with Boudin and a Hurricane to drink. Mmmm thinking about it is making me hungry!
The radio ads for these things call it a "buttery tasting biscuit" which I assume is the same as "butter flavored topping" in movie theaters.
IMHO, there is nothing wrong with eating chicken for breakfast. But if you eat chicken and eggs together, ala a chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit or sandwich, that is cross-generation canabalism.
I'm with Paris. I can't do chicken for breakfast. Eggs? Hell yeah, but not their mother.
And we're all eating fast food...why?
Bojangles appeared briefly in New York (there's still one in Bushwick, but that's pretty far off my path). I used to have the chicken biscuit there pretty regularly, and it was mighty fine. Part of what made it so good was that the chicken was spiced with something like Tabasco, and the McD's doesn't match that, but I thought it was a decent savory breakfast, and I expect I will have it again. McDonald's breakfast is under-rated, in general I'd say. There are plenty of times, especially when I am traveling, when it is just what I want.
I am in NYC and thought it was pretty great I got a massive sweet tea and chicken biscuit for $1.08. So the biscuit itself gets high marks; the chicken not so much..(Chickfila is so much better!) But the sweet tea does rock. I'll give them that.
Chicken for breakfast? Sounds awful but that's just my opinion.
The last thing I would want for breakfast is a deep fried piece of chicken on a biscuit.
Looks like it should be on the "Dollar" menu.
:-)
Nice call on the Dollar Menu drinks! All the medium and large drinks are in the $1.50 range.
What will you do with your extra few coins?
