Ted -- you are one lucky guy!

JEP -- you'll be surprised how easily a pound of chocolate gets to feel like just enough.

Irene -- I'm not anywhere where I can measure flour for you now, but here's what I'd suggest: measure out a cup of flour using the scoop and sweep method, then weigh it. For scoop and sweep, you aerate the flour, dip your cup in to overfill it, then level it by gently sweeping a flat edge over it. Done this way, a cup of flour ends up on the heavier side, but I don't think it's as much as 145 grams. Wish I could be more precise, but I can't now.

Dorie, I have all your cookbooks and had a question about your most recent. I like to weigh my ingredients and am converting your recipes into metric weights. I know all bakers measure flour a little differently. Depending on the person, the weather, etc I know it can vary from 125 g to 145 g. How many grams of flour do you recommend for 1 cup?

Both recipes sound delicious. I'm intrigued by the mocha one as I do like coffee flavored desserts! A whole # of dark chocolate...it has to taste good :)
